Made From Natural Products

Soap Plantation soap base is made from natural ingredients.
They are:
Saponified vegetable oil, glycerine (kosher), and purified water [1]

Many bars of “soap” you find on your grocer’s shelves are actually detergent bars, not soap. If it doesn’t say “soap” as part of the label, it’s not true soap. Corporations use names like “Body Bar” to hide the fact that they are not selling actual soap.

Here’s what you’ll find in a typical “off-the-shelf” bar of soap:

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, stearic acid, sodium tallowate, water, sodium isethionate, coconut acid, sodium stearate sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, sodium cocoate or sodium palm kernelate, fragrance, sodium chloride, tocopheryl acetate, tetrasodium EDTA, tetrasodium etidronate, BHT, titanium dioxide, red 17, violet 2.

Which would you prefer to wash with? A bar that looks like a chemistry lab experiment gone awry? Or a natural product? Better yet, ask your skin which it would prefer.

Hand-Crafted Bars

At the Soap Plantation, we add fragrance and coloring to a batch of soap base, pour the liquid soap into a mold, and allow that soap to solidify. Once solidification is complete, we hand-cut each bar, seal it in plastic to protect the soap and preserve the fragrance, and package it in a custom cloth back on which we manually add our logo. Each bar is approximately 4 ounces, but because we hand-craft each bar, there will be slight variations in weight and appearance. But that’s how you know that the bar was created with LOVE rather than by some machine!

Just the Bar You Need

Although our 4oz rectangular bar is our most popular product, The Soap Plantation also provides artistic molded bars (3-6 oz), small (1.5oz) guest bars, and special occasion bars. We can even create custom combinations for those who have special color coordination requirements.

Aloe Vera's healing properties are well known.

Cocoa Butter is a rich mosturizer, often used in sun block formulations.

Hemp Oil also has good mosturizing properties.

Clear glycerine soap with extra coconut oil to produce mounds of lather.
